Freeride World Tour Title Comes Down to THIS

The Overall Freerirde World Tour Title will all come down to one run on the world famous Bec des Rosses in Verbier, Switzerland. Currently the event is on hold as the athletes and competition organizers wait for the appropriate weather window. (It appears that Monday April 3rd is looking promising for a green light, so mark your calendar.)

Unlike any other finale, the drama around the final "Drop In" is increased in the Men's overall ski category based on a 3 way tie for first. Blizzard Tecnica athletes Loic Collomb Patton and Leo Slemett are joined at the top with Kristofer Turdell. Each of the three skiers has placed 1st, 2nd and 7th in previous events -- so they will settle the 2017 Freeride World Championship Title this week in Switzerland. The unlikely situation was realized just 10 days ago when Loic took home the win in Haines, AK with Leo standing on the podium next to him in 2nd place. (Revisit the event here)
